PelviPower Functional Magnetic Stimulation

Optimising the way your pelvic floor functions.

A non-invasive treatment that uses focused electromagnetic stimulation to activate the pelvic floor muscles and the nerves that control them.

Healthy pelvic floor function depends on much more than strength alone. Your pelvic floor needs to activate when required, relax when appropriate, generate the right force, and coordinate with your breathing and movement.

PelviPower FMS may help improve these aspects of function as part of a personalised rehabilitation programme.

Why it might be recommended

If pelvic floor function is contributing to your symptoms, FMS may help.

The pelvic floor plays an important role in bladder control, bowel function, pelvic stability, sexual function and comfort.

FMS may be recommended to help improve neuromuscular activation, strength, endurance, coordination and control, and depending on your presentation, to assist muscle relaxation and restore more normal tone.

Our goal isn’t simply to stimulate muscles. It’s to help them function more effectively.

What it helps optimise

Pelvic floor muscle activation
Neuromuscular function
Muscle strength and endurance
Coordination and timing
Relaxation where appropriate
Pelvic and lumbar stability

Who may benefit

What happens during treatment

Treatment is performed while you remain fully clothed, seated comfortably on the PelviPower chair.

Focused electromagnetic pulses gently stimulate the pelvic floor muscles, producing thousands of contractions or relaxation responses during each session.

Each session typically lasts around 20 to 30 minutes. Many people find it comfortable enough to read or relax during the session.

Is it right for you?

Every recommendation begins with understanding.

You don’t need to know whether this is the right treatment for you. You simply need to know you’d like something to change. Together we’ll identify what’s holding you back and build a personalised pathway forward.
